Photo Technique
Works from the prime lens 50mm f/1.4. It’s just a pure light, nice, high quality large aperture lens from Canon. The DOF is perfect from the very f1.4 and photos become very sharp after f2.0. The perfect time to show its capability is under the low light situation, for example the indoor with bulb light, outdoor night portrait. However, because of the large aperture, you’d be very careful about the DOF, for it’s so easy to lose your focus if the object move just a little bit. For Canon 5D, it’s said the middle focus point is for the aperture smaller than2.8 to ensure the object precisely captured in the middle focus circle.
The focus is the left eye, you can tell how sharp the image is within the focus depth, and the right eye has been blurred since it’s out of the focus depth of the lens.
Photoshop works have been done on the original photo, includes color adjustment, white balance adjustment, brightness and contrast adjustment, skin tone tune, logo art, etc.

F1.4 lens is really wonderfu. In the first picture, I like how the only focus is on her left eye. Very sharp. Also like the color in the second one. Good job.
